George Tindall

In the Farmer's Magazine, in July 1856, it mentions that George Tindall of Wickenby got £2, for the best one-horse cart at a show.


Benjamin Turner

In 1803, in the 'Gentleman's Magazine', it mentions the infant daughter of Benjamin Turner of Wickenby, had died due to her 'cloaths taking fire the preceding day, in the absence of its parents'.

John Blow

John Blow was mentioned in the London Gazette on the 5th. February, 1833, regarding being a prisoner for debt; John was a farmer and labourer. He was formerly of Wickenby, but was late of Fonoby. For more information, please go to the London Gazette website.

John Goulding

A County Court matter, was mentioned in the London Gazette, on the the 30th. January, 1849 regarding John Goulding, formerly of Wickenby, and 'now of Swinethorpe'. John was a farmer.

Wickenby

Wickenby is a little village in Lincolnshire. It's focal point is probably the old church, which may date back to at least the 12th. Century.
